About Monkey D. Luffy
Monkey D. Luffy, captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the Four Emperors, dreams of becoming the Pirate King and finding the One Piece. He wears the straw hat with a red band that Shanks gave him. His Devil Fruit, the Gomu Gomu no Mi, was revealed to be the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, and Gear 5 is its awakened form, first used in his final battle with Kaidou on Onigashima. He also uses Conqueror's, Armament and Observation Haki, and he is the son of the revolutionary Monkey D. Dragon and the grandson of the Marine hero Monkey D. Garp.
