Roronoa Zoro
About this plate
Zoro stands at the end of a wooden dock at night, seen from behind as he looks out over calm water toward a crimson glow on the horizon. His three swords hang at his side, and mooring posts line the dock. The picture uses only cobalt blue, crimson and black, with fine ink hatching in the planks and the water.
About Roronoa Zoro
Roronoa Zoro, known as Pirate Hunter Zoro, is the master swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates. He was the first to join Luffy's crew and is seen as his right-hand man. He fights with Three Sword Style, holding one sword in his mouth, and his dream is to become the greatest swordsman in the world, a promise to his childhood friend Kuina. With Luffy and Sanji he is one of the crew's Monster Trio, and he is known for a poor sense of direction.
